An Urban Catalyst for Culture and the Arts
An undergraduate comprehensive design project (thesis) that aims to address the urban problems affecting the city through agenda-based solutions gathered from macro-to-micro site analyses. The project explores the advantages and challenges of transforming abandoned and disused places into creative spaces.
The old Baguio Post Office, located at the heart of Session Road, transformed into a creative space as the Baguio Community Creative Hub.
Several iterations were made in both digital and physical models.
The challenge was to create a new landmark by reviving the old, without destroying it, connecting the past to the present and future of Baguio as a Creative City.
